December birthdays!

December 9th is my birthday. My mother whos birthday is on the 16th always said that I was her birthday/Christmas present! I really believe that it was my greatest birthday/Christmas present to have such a great mother. Happy birthday mom, I love you!

For several years in the past, I would worry about my son. Especially around Christmas time when the family would all get together. We have been so blessed to have him and his wonderful little family with us again.
A year ago they were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple.




During this Hoilday time I do miss my parents who live so far away and my grandparents who are no longer with us.

I also miss my brothers and their families.

This Thanksgiving I had all my grandbabies together and so we took some pictures. As you can see it was a little crazy getting all of them to look right at the camera or to not cry but it was wonderful!

November is the month for being Thankful

I have a lot of things to be thankful about! But the thing I am most thankful for is to my Heavenly Father for making me a woman. I love being a mother. From the time I was a little girl I would dress all my dolls and pose them and take their picture.

I am also thankful for my husband for giving me the gift of letting me be a stay at home mother for 19 years. These years will be charised forever.What wonderful memories I have.

I love checking in on all the young mothers blogs. They are so creative and smart. The way they tell stories that have happened make me reflect back in time! I remember those wonderful memories. Now in Mike's and my life there isn't much that is fun to hear about or very interesting. So the other day while day dreaming (while driving the school bus) I thought of this!!!!!

Mike and I were able to go to Hawaii for 10 wonderful days for our 35th wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe we have been married that long. Time goes by so fast
